Effects of Staying Active

My body has responded to my dedication to staying in the following ways.

  1. This is going to sound weird but I can feel my body activate when I walk. My core is engaged and it just feels easier, like my body is working better, more efficiently.
  2. My body still works in this efficient manner when I’m tired, when I’m exhausted even. I feel tired yes, but my body doesn’t want to shut down. It still operates normally.
  3. Range of motion is greatly increased. Flexibility, due to extended stretching sessions five days per week, is noticeably improved. Like I said, walking is easier, certain stationary positions no longer are painful and my overall posture is better.

There are many other smaller effects, some of them more a feeling rather than a physical effect on my body, making them hard to explain. All I know is that I feel better both physically as I regain my strength after injury; and mentally as I work on the completion of my manuscript.
