The Characters of My Emotion

I’ve been using a lot of personal experience lately to flow into characters, scenes and sometimes flash fiction and short stories.

I play out my own thoughts and emotions in real time, which allows me to process them quickly. I use a wide array of scenes to explore as many different POV’s as possible. This allows me to understand myself better.

Sometimes they result in new permanent characters and are secured in my Character Archives until I need them.

Do you do the same? How does writing help you process emotion?
