This photo was taken at Chief Ladiga Landing in Jacksonville, AL.
A few days ago while on my weekly run, I was inspired to take this photo. I felt as if I was jogging into infinity as the tress and their branches closed in around me, like a giant’s splintery arms carrying me through the last mile of my run. The surreal scene got me thinking about the infinite beauty of nature. This photo gives the illusion of an infinite road, a metaphor for my current station in life. It seems to go on forever, with new experiences waiting for me. So it is with nature. The scope if its infinite beauty can be seen everywhere. From the fractal patterns of the tree branches that I travelled under to the concept of time that some physicists say will never end. Sometimes, even my own thoughts to seem to run together into a fluid mass of never ending ruminations. We, as human beings trapped in this three dimensional plane of existence, will never escape infinity. This is because I believe that when our energy disperses at the time of death, it will reform into different forms of reality. Forever. But right now my future is filled with an infinite number of probabilities. Hopefully, I can remain conscious of this as I continue on my journey through life.
